Florence Cecile Camacho Almeda (she/her/hers) is a NYC based Filipino American full-spectrum doula who brings a compassionate and creative approach to the birthing space. She trained with Ancient Song Doula Services and is a current member of the NYC Doula Collective and the HOPE Doula Program.
Having worked in public health as a researcher promoting health equity among communities of color, Florence is committed to connecting her clients with affirming and culturally sensitive resources. She offers prenatal, birth, and postpartum support tailored to your needs.
As an artist that believes in the power of music as medicine, she weaves deep listening, meditation, breathwork, and aromatherapy into her practice. It is her goal to honor your unique identities and hopes for your birth with an open heart. In her free time, she loves drinking tea, journaling, dancing, and listening to music with her partner and cat in their home in Bed-Stuy.
